The Vice-Chancellor has announced the closure of the Conference Office on 1 June 2010. This outcome is part of a wider review of university services in order to focus resources on the core activity of the university, which is research-informed degree programmes.
Current contracts for university departments and external bodies are to be transferred to an external provider subject to client approval.
In future, departments will have access to an external preferred provider to meet their needs as required.
